About

Who are we?

We are Vanessa and Gail – two Mums who are members of a multi-centered parish. We saw the need for a more informal style of worship that welcomed and involved parents, children, young and old. Encouraged by both our previous and current Vicars, we have been running these “Come and See” services for coming up to five years now. During that time, and with God’s guidance, we have received inspiration and pointers from many others, often through websites, and we felt it was time to share the things that have been of help to us. Some of the posts will be for more recent services, but others will be things we have done over the last few years.

Craft ideas, plays and skits, object lessons,  launching pads for ideas and inspiration – we have found these many times on other people’s websites, and we thank you for the help you have provided. We hope and pray that we are able to give that same help to others, and we would love to hear from you if you have found inspiration on this site – let us know what you have used and how you adapted it for your own situations.

Anything of ours on here you are free to use as is, or adapt and change to your own needs.

Vanessa & I work together – God has given us each other because our talents and abilities complement each other, and together we are working to open hearts and minds to the wonders and blessings of God’s grace.
